Walbrook PR clients shortlisted for AIM Awards

10 September 2012

Walbrook PR announces that two of its clients have been shortlisted for the forthcoming AIM Awards to be held next month.

EKF Diagnostics Holdings plc – Shortlisted for the Best Use of AIM Award

EKF Diagnostics, a worldwide manufacturer of point of care in-vitro diagnostic devices, has been shortlisted for the Best Use of AIM Award, which recognizes companies that regards their arrival on AIM as the beginning of a journey rather than a destination in itself. The award focuses on companies that have raised money from a wide spread of institutional and private investors and have undertaken further fund raisings to accelerate growth.

Surgical Innovations Group plc – Shortlisted for the Best Communication Award

Surgical Innovations, which designs and manufactures creative solutions for minimally invasive surgery, has been shortlisted for the Best Communication Award, which recognizes companies that are able to communicate effectively with all levels of shareholders and potential shareholders, being consistent in their approach and presentations and maintaining regular contact with their shareholders.

The AIM Awards identify the quoted companies and entrepreneurs who have harnessed AIM to help them fulfil their ambition and growth potential in the last twelve months. The Awards will be presented at the AIM Awards Dinner on 11 October 2012 and attracts over 1,300 guests from the AIM community. Walbrook PR will be hosting a table at the event and we look forward to meeting with a number of AIM companies, advisers and journalists on the night.

Paul McManus, Director of Walbrook PR, said: "We're delighted that two of our clients have been shortlisted for the AIM Awards this year. We hope this reflects the high quality of clients that we work with and, particularly in the case of the Best Communication Awards, demonstrates our effectiveness in communicating to our clients' shareholders and other stakeholders as well as raising their profile within the AIM market."
